Three Trails MARCH REGIONAL SPECIALTY
The Three Trails CWC Club of KC Regional Specialty is moving to the spring!
Held in conjunction with the Leavenworth Kennel Club and Heart of America Kennel Club, Kansas City, MO.
Thursday March 17, 2011 – Invitation only Top 20 Competition (Open to the following dogs -- Top 20 Cardigan Welsh Corgis in all-breed and breed competition through December 31, 2010, as well as 2010 CWCCA national specialty/CWCCA designated specialty/US Regional Cardigan Club best of breed winners). This competition will be judged by a non-published three-person panel consisting of an "allrounder" (AKC licensed to judge Cardigan Welsh Corgis), a Cardigan breeder judge (AKC licensed), and a handler. This competition is considered a fun match and will not count toward any AKC or CWCCA awards/or points for dogs defeated. An award will be given for Best Cardigan Welsh Corgi as determined by the panel of three judges.
Friday March 18, 2011 – Specialty judge: Anne H. Bowes (Heronsway Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Massachusetts).
Independent Evening Specialty held after BIS of the Leavenworth Kennel Club all-breed dog show in Kansas City, MO.
Saturday March 19, 2011 – Sweepstakes judge: Elizabeth S. MacNair (MacWallace Cardigan Welsh Corgis, Texas). Cardigan puppy and veteran sweepstakes in conjunction with the Heart of America all-breed dog show.

Right Around The Corner!
It's hard to believe it's already the middle of August!
The Three Trails specialty is closed, and entries processed. The specialty will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010.
Just a reminder that the specialty will begin 1/2 hour after Best in Show for the Manhattan Kennel Club dog show. The groups start at 2:15 this year, so everyone please be aware, our specialty is likely to begin earlier than in previous years!
The club is looking forward to seeing everyone in Topeka! And, stay tuned for updates, as our specialty is making a move for next year!
